Provides coverage if you, a family member or traveling companion is unable to travel or continue a trip, or need medical assistance during the trip, due to contracting COVID-19. View COVID-19 statement.

Covers a variety of events such as sickness or injury, adverse weather, strikes, terrorist incidents... even extension of the school year.

Covers cancellation of a covered trip for any reason not otherwise covered by the policy, up to 75% (50% in Florida) of nonrefundable trip costs. You must purchase prior to final trip payment, insure your full trip cost, and cancel before 48 hours of scheduled departure. Not available to NY residents.

Reimburses you for the cost to catch up with your trip if your flight is delayed more than 3 hours.

In the event of serious injury or sickness, pays up front for the cost to evacuate you to the nearest adequate medical facility, and then to your home if medically necessary.

Reimburses you for medical expenses resulting from sickness and injury while on the covered trip.

Covers the cost of a security evacuation to a place of safety, or even home, due to political and military events, natural disasters, and other reasons.

Reimburses you for expenses such as hotels, meals and local transportation if you are delayed more than 12 hours on your trip due to a covered reason.

Covers you for trip cancellation, interruption and travel medical expenses if you are injured while participating in a variety of activities, such as: cycling, skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, mountain climbing, and many others.

You can waive the pre-existing medical conditions exclusion if you have purchased your policy prior to final trip payment.

Reimburses you if your baggage or sporting equipment is lost, stolen, damaged or delayed.

Most travel insurance plans don’t cover losses due to these conditions - the Activity Coverage plan does.

Many travel insurance plans require you to purchase your policy within a certain time frame of initial trip deposit. With the Activity Coverage plan, you have up to final trip payment to buy your policy and waive the Pre-Existing Medical Condition exclusion. Please note: Cancel For Any Reason is not available to NY residents.

We know this can be a major concern for travelers…but if you, a family member or a traveling companion get sick with COVID-19 before or during your trip, it’s treated just like any other illness.

Until further notice, as an accommodation, the following coverages will be extended to include COVID-19 related losses occurring due to sickness, as sickness is defined in the policy.

  1. Travel Medical Expense and Emergency Evacuation and Repatriation of Remains benefits if you or a traveling companion require medical treatment or Emergency Evacuation due to COVID-19-related sickness while on a covered trip.
  2. Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption and Trip Delay benefits if you, a traveling companion or a family member develop COVID-19-related sickness before or during your covered trip and meet the policy requirements for coverage due to sickness.
